91-year-old male with a known history of right primary glenohumeral osteoarthritis. 4 years prior to presentation, he underwent a right reverse shoulder arthroplasty, with adequate pain relief and restoration of motion. after falling down he sustained a periprosthetic humeral shaft fracture.

unremarkable skin incision corresponding to a standard deltopectoral approach. massive swelling and hematoma of the right Arm. Normal distal neurovascular exam.
