Femoral Shaft Fx in 2F

HPI

A 2-year-old female fell while walking in the kitchen. It was a witnessed fall. She was brought to ER 30 minutes after the fall. There was no discrepancy on her history from the family.

PMH

Her Past Medical History is negative. She lives locally with both parents. There is no history of prior fractures.

PE

On physical exam she weighs 15 kg. She refuses to walk. She is swollen and tender to palpation over the right femur. She has no other areas of focal tenderness in her extremities. She has no abnormal skin lesions on a careful exam of her extremities.
