Shoulder Dislocation Fracture in 64F

HPI

The patient is a 64-year-old right-hand dominant female who presented after RTA. She reports severe pain in the left shoulder, but neurovascularly, the upper extremity is intact (NVI).

PMH

No relevant past medical history.

PE

Examination of the left upper extremity reveals tenderness over the shoulder. The patient experiences severe pain with any attempted range of motion. Sensation is intact in the axillary, median, radial, and ulnar nerve distributions. Radial pulse is 2+ and equal to the contralateral side.
