Director of the ONS Women’s Sports Medicine Center, Katherine Vadasdi, MD is an orthopedic surgeon who is fellowship trained in adolescent and adult sports medicine as well as shoulder and elbow surgery. Dr. Vadasdi graduated from Dartmouth College and earned her medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School. She performed a residency in orthopedics at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS) in New York and completed fellowship training in shoulder, elbow and sports medicine at Columbia University Medical Center, Department of Orthopedics. While at Columbia she was assistant team physician to Columbia University Athletics. Dr. Vadasdi has been honored as a Castle Connolly America’s Top Doctor and Regional Top Doctor annually since 2014. In 2017, she was the recipient of the Fairfield County Doctor of Distinction Award and was named among the Exceptional Woman in Medicine by Castle Connolly. In 2019, Dr. Vadasdi was honored with a Women Who Inspire award from the Greenwich YWCA.
