Dr. Buchan completed his Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Wittenberg University in Springfield, OH. He earned his medical degree from Ohio University – Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, OH. Dr. Buchan finished his orthopedic surgery residency at OhioHealth in Columbus, OH, and his hand surgery fellowship at Kettering Health Network in Dayton, OH. When Dr. Buchan is not working, he dedicates much of his time with his wife, Maureen, and 3 young children; Reed, Olive, and Hattie. Dr. Buchan enjoys playing golf, running, biking, camping, and going to the beach. His favorite sports teams are the Ohio State Buckeyes and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
