A 46-year-old recreational athlete presents to the clinic for follow-up of forefoot pain. Pain is located under the second through fourth metatarsal heads. The patient has trialed orthotics with metatarsal pads as well as extensive PT focusing on stretching. A lateral radiograph of the patient’s foot is demonstrated in Figure A.
