She is a real estate agent and does note that she wears high-heels and other tight-fitting shoes frequently, which seem to exacerbate the issue. On examination, she localizes her pain to the third webspace and has a palpable click when the midfoot is squeezed. You notice an incision over the dorsal aspect of the webspace and when you inquire, she states she had surgery to "fix a nerve" approximately 1 year ago but her surgeon moved out of town.
