Steven J. Hattrup, M.D., is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty interest in shoulder reconstructive surgery. In addition to his clinical activities, Dr. Hattrup is involved in research and education. He trains and mentors orthopedic residents and fellows. He is an associate professor of Orthopedic surgery in the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and has published numerous articles in the peer reviewed literature. He is member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, and the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons group. He is an Assistant Editor and Reviewer of the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and a member of the Shoulder and Elbow Committee for the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery.
