Biography

Dr. Spencer Woolwine is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in orthopaedic oncology, primary and complex/revision arthroplasty, and trauma. Dr. Woolwine received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine School of Medicine in 2015. Following medical school, he completed an internship in anesthesiology at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, and was matched into orthopaedic surgery at the University of California San Francisco - Fresno (UCSF-Fresno) program. He then completed his orthopaedic oncology and complex reconstruction fellowship at Emory University under Drs Reimer and Oskouei. Dr. Woolwine's early career took him back to the Central Valley of California where he served as the only orthopaedic oncologist between Los Angeles and San Francisco. He currently practices back in Atlanta, Georgia with Emory Healthcare treating sarcoma/metastatic disease of the musculoskeletal system, primary and revision arthroplasty, trauma, limb deformity, and pediatrics.
