I studied mechanical engineering in college, and began a career working as a mechanical engineer in the nuclear power industry. I sought more fulfillment and human interaction at work, so I enrolled in medical school to pursue a childhood dream of becoming a physician. I completed medical school and matched in an Orthopaedic surgery residency to become a surgeon. I spent the next 5 years hands-on training as an orthopaedic surgeon, and matched in a Joint Replacement/Arthroplasty fellowship. Upon completion of fellowship, I will begin practice as an orthopaedic surgeon.
