Dr. Warrender is a fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in the comprehensive treatment of patients with Hand, Wrist and Elbow conditions. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame where he played baseball for the Fighting Irish, he completed medical school and an Orthopaedic Surgical Residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He followed this with a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center in Indianapolis before returning to South Bend. Dr. Warrender has authored 25 journal articles and 5 book chapters on hand and upper extremity surgery and has presented his research nationally. He is a candidate member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Society for Surgery of the Hand.
