Dr. Hepler is a Board Certified (ABOS) and fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon in Palm Beach County and Broward County with more than 17 years of experience. He completed a comprehensive adult and pediatric spine fellowship with a focus on complex deformity and treats the full spectrum of spine conditions (back pain, disc herniation, spinal stenosis, sciatica, scoliosis, kyphosis, spine fracture, failed back surgery). A leading expert in the field, he employs the most advanced non-operative and operative techniques including pain management, physical therapy, spine rehabilitation, epidural injections (ESI), and outpatient procedures with Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) as well as complex spinal reconstruction. Dr. Hepler is dedicated to providing the best care available so that each patient can return to a full and active lifestyle. He has an ongoing commitment to evaluating and optimizing patient outcomes throughout his academic and private practice career and presented these outcomes at multiple national and international spine meetings (NASS, SRS, IMAST) and in various publications. He remains actively engaged in academic spine research, is a participating member of numerous international spine organizations serving as committee member and chair (AAOS, NASS, SRS), and associate editor and reviewer for leading academic spine publications (Spine Deformity and Spine).
