I am the manager of the Orthopedic Physical Therapy Center at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan. We have an extensive staff of physical therapists who specialize in orthopedic diagnoses, and we work closely with our surgeons to get our post-operative population Back in the Game. At the hospital I serve as a faculty member for our orthopedic residents, provide lectures to our staff PT rotators, lead journal clubs, give inservices, and help our staff orient to using our new EMR system. I personally specialize in the treatment of joint replacement surgeries, but help people rehab from their head to their toes, as I am a board certified orthopedic specialist.
