Biography

I am a former team captain of the Binghamton University baseball program and was nominated for the Johnny Bench Award as one of the top Division I catchers in the country. After graduating from college, I spent two years in Mississippi with Teach For America as a high school science teacher working alongside community leaders to address education inequality. Since that time, I graduated from Update Medical University and was a Chief Orthopedic Surgery Resident at the University of Vermont. As a resident, I was heavily involved in medical student mentorship and joined the Editorial Review Board with the Journal of Arthroscopy. I am currently living in New York City pursuing a sports medicine fellowship at Columbia. As part of my training, I have the opportunity to combine my passions for baseball, education, and orthopedics as a team physician with the New York Yankees.
