Joseph M. Schwab, MD, FAAOS, FAOA, is an internationally recognized leader in hip surgery and orthopaedic research. His clinical expertise is in hip preservation and reconstruction and he is internationally known for his educational efforts with anterior approach total hip replacement. Dr. Schwab currently directs research in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Fribourg in Fribourg, Switzerland.
