Dr. Anand Vora is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in disorders of the foot and ankle. He completed his internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at John Hopkins and Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and completed a prestigious fellowship in orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery at The Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center and Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Vora is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery, University of Illinois, and was previously an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University School of Medicine. His training includes extensive experience in both simple and complex foot and ankle reconstructive surgery and lower extremity orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Vora’s interests include ankle replacement and other joint replacements of the foot and ankle, treatment of cartilage problems with joint sparing and cartilage restoration techniques, minimally invasive and arthroscopic reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports related foot and ankle injuries, and primary and revision forefoot surgery. Dr. Vora has authored numerous papers and textbook chapters on foot and ankle surgery and lectures and instructs both locally and nationally to other orthopaedic surgeons, orthopaedists in training, foot and ankle surgeons, and other health care professionals. He also cares for professional and everyday athletes with foot and ankle injuries. Dr. Vora is currently conducting many clinical research projects including prospective multi-center trials examining the outcomes after foot and ankle surgery.
