Dr. J Michael Wiater is an orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Dr. Wiater received his medical degree from the University of Medical School in 1993. Following his medical degree, he completed an internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers. He also completed additional surgical training in sports medicine through his fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Columbia Campus in 1999.
