I'm Om Sharma. I work as an orthopedic surgeon at Essentia Health Detroit Lakes. I am specialized in pediatric orthopedic and arthroplasty. I see patients with musculoskeletal problems in children and adult. I also see patients with trauma in pediatric age group, as well as in adult, and also do hip and knee arthroplasties. When I see patient first time, I try to find out the reason for their visit and then discuss with the various treatment option. At the same time, I also find out what are their expectation and goal of their visit. And then I work with them toward that goal. I love orthopedic because we can do so much to regain the patient's mobility so they can live their active life. I like Essentia Health Detroit Lakes because here, we can take care of musculoskeletal needs of our community locally.
