Biography

Nick Golinvaux, MD is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in all aspects of hand & upper extremity care. Dr. Golinvaux is passionate about his profession and the relationships formed with his patients and their families. He considers it a special privilege to care for conditions throughout the upper extremity. This includes the care of nerve conditions, fracture fixation, and arthritis treatment throughout the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. He has authored several peer-reviewed research publications and book chapters, though his most meaningful work lies in the individualized care of his patients and helping to return them to their active lives following an injury or bout with a degenerative condition. Dr. Golinvaux graduated from Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology. He also earned his medical degree at Yale and completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University. He then completed his training with the Harvard Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship.
