Frank R. Voss, MD, graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, with honors in biochemistry. He earned his medical degree from Harvard Medical School, completed a general surgery residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and his orthopedic surgery residency at Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Program, all in Boston. He then completed a fellowship in reconstructive surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Voss joined the University of South Carolina School of Medicine faculty in 1993. He has served as Director of Medical Education for the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery since 1994 and as the department's vice-chair since 1995. His special interests include hip and knee arthroplasty, osteotomies and trauma. He is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons Coding and Reimbursement Committee.
