Dr. Behnam "Ben" Sharareh is the current Editor-in-Chief of Orthobullets. He grew up in Southern California and went to UCLA for his undergraduate studies where he graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Bioengineering. He obtained his MD from UC Irvine where he was inducted as Junior AOA. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery resident at Baylor College of Medicine where he was the recipient of the Wooden Pager Junior Resident Award, the ER Consultant of the Year Award, inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society, administrative chief resident, and was the program representative at the AOA resident leadership committee. He completed a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at the University of Washington. He is currently a shoulder and elbow reconstruction specialist at Ventura Orthopedics.
