I chose to be an orthopaedic surgeon because it combines my interests in medicine and engineering. I enjoy working with my hands, and find gratification in relieving pain, and helping people to resume an active lifestyle. I practice orthopaedic surgery with a subspecialty in adult hip and knee reconstruction. My practice emphasizes pre-operative education and conditioning, clinically proven surgical techniques, and optimal post-operative rehabilitation to assist in rapid return to normal activities following a joint replacement. To maintain work life balance, I enjoy spending time with my family. I am an avid reader, and I like to travel. I stay active by snowboarding, playing golf, and working out.
