Adamantinoma is a malignancy of the bone that is low-grade and rare, with an uncertain origin. It is frequently found in the diaphyses and metaphyses of the tibia. The nomenclature adamantinoma has been attributed to this neoplasm owing to its histopathological similarity to the ameloblastoma of the mandible. The histopathological analysis reveals the presence of biphasic patterns consisting of epithelial cells and osteofibrous components. Adamantinoma can be classified into two distinct types, namely the classical type and the differentiated type. The latter type bears a resemblance to osteofibrous dysplasia. Although imaging techniques have made significant progress, the conclusive diagnosis of adamantinoma is primarily determined through histopathological analysis.
